Emmaline Jeansonne (10) and Maggie Saucedo (10) proudly hold up a pinata with Ann Richards' glued on it. The pinata was adopted by the cross country team in their second week of training. During their run at Garrison Park, the cross country team witnessed the pinata about to be thrown away when Lucia Hruby, a junior, asked if the team could have it.
