Rebecca Alonso, otherwise known as Becca, is a sophomore at Ann Richards, and has been attending since the 6th grade. This is Becca’s 2nd year in newspaper, she started in the summer of her freshmen year and has plans to become the entertainment editor of the newspaper. She is also a part of her school cheerleading squad. Becca enjoys listening to music, eating food, sleeping, singing, taking photos, and hanging out with her friends. Her mom knows her as a “passionate young being”, and her friends laugh at her jokes, so she’s probably funny.
Rebecca Alonso is living large during her senior year as Editor in Chief in the Polaris Press newspaper. Becca is ambitious, determined, resilient, fierce, protective, and would describe herself as the “cool aunt/cat lady” of the journalism family. She enjoys spending time with her friends and snuggling kittens, perfectly representing her warm personality. Out of her many interests, one of her major passions is journalism in media. She is the best person to go to for advice, and you can always trust her to give a helping hand.
