A NEW YEAR, AND ALL THE HITS

in Entertainment/Reviews by

From 2010 to 2020, music has had big waves of what was “popular” and songs that made continuous airplay. While the years have gone by our culture has evolved and so has music with it. The music style has changed in the past 10 years. In the early 2010s a lot of pop and hip-hop was the main center focus as trending music, but as the years have gone by there has been a shift in what was considered popular or what a good song was.

The top 100 now has more of a variety of music, with indie, pop, soul, RNB, alternative and many more. The famous singers in 2010 all had a similar type of music, verses to now in 2020 all the well-known artists have something special or different about their style of music. Lately, we have seen artists collaborating on music, while at the same time they both have two different styles, this experimentation of music has shown to make it easier for people to get interested in other artists.
