Lady Gaga stunned at the SAG Awards red carpet in a Dior Haute Couture off-white gown, straight off the runway. Gaga has received much praise for her performance in A Star Is Born so far this awards season. Her song “Shallow” from the movie’s soundtrack has won every award that it’s been nominated for so far such as, “Best Original Song” at the Golden Globes and “Best Song Written for Visual Media” at the Grammys. The movie follows folk singer Jackson Maine, played by Bradley Cooper who also directed the film, on his journey through fame. Dealing with alcohol addiction and other mental health issues, he meets Ally while on tour. After spending a night together, he recognizes her talent and offers to share the stage with her for the rest of the tour. Timid at first, Ally soon discovers herself through the music. Offers coming in by music producers for Ally are tempting, but their lean towards pop does not make Jackson happy. After back and forths of arguing, the movie comes to a tragic close, but the films final scene gives a nod towards a bright future for Ally.
